The Opportunity
We have a unique opportunity to serve God’s body of believers by teaching them Biblical body stewardship principles, speaking truth into their lives, believing in them, encouraging them, and loving them. But rather than only reaching people in our local sphere of influence, BTU coaches do most everything via the internet and social media. BTU has partnered with Beachbody, creators of the popular in-home workouts P90X and Insanity and the all-natural meal replacement drink Shakeology. They make some of the best fitness tools on the market. So instead of trying reinvent the wheel and produce our own workouts and supplements, we can build a platform off of their line of products and health solutions. This means we can reach far more clients and do so at a fraction of the cost for the client (as opposed to face-to-face personal training).

A few FAQs:
Q: How much time do I have to dedicate in order to be a coach?
A: How long you spend on your business is your decision. Like most anything, the more time you spend on it, the better your results will be. Committing on average an hour a day will get you going. Chances are, the more you do, the more you will want to do. There’s something addictive about getting paid to help people live healthier lifestyles. There are some coaches that only ever want to spend a minimal amount of time on their business… and there are others that do it full-time. It’s your business so it’s up to you.
Q: What if I’m not very knowledgable about fitness?
A: New discoveries are always being made. Science changes. Techniques are developed. Nobody knows everything about fitness. So having an extensive fitness background isn’t a prerequisite. But you do need to be willing to learn. And equally important to expanding your knowledge base is learning how to reach out to others, having the desire to love on people, encourage them, pray for them, and be continually engaged in your own fitness journey.
Q: What kind of training will I get?
A: BTU offers free training. Beachbody too has excellent training, including Coach Basics, Coach Training Academy videos, Super Saturday events and the Annual Summit Event. And of course, your coach will train you. As you can see, there’s no shortage of opportunities specifically designed to help you reach more people and start helping them to feel how our incredible bodies were designed to feel.
